EN: Despite not great weather forecast we are heading to Ben Bulben to its NW ridge. The wind is very weak today but there are some thermal bubbles coming from time to time. Lubor gives it a shot and after some scratching he manages to get above the ridge.
SK: Aj napriek nie úplne ideálnej predpovedi sa chystáme na stolovú horu Ben Bulben na jej severo-západný hrebeň. Vietor v polovici hrebeňa takmer žiadny ale slabé termické intervaly chodia. Lubor skúša šťastie ako prvý a po niekoľkých minútach je nad hrebeňom.
EN: I am lucky enough to pick the right moment and I am joining quickly Lubor above the ridge but Peter and Tom and that lucky. Flying above Ben Bulben is nice and smooth, after some necessary video shots Lubor decides to jump to a next ridge - to Ben Wiskin. When I see him to center the lift in half way I quickly follow him but by the the I get there the thermal's gone - Lubor is high above me heading towards to a next ridge and I'm scratching down here and desperately looking for at least some bubbles. In the meantime Lubor passes Truskmore and after next jump he catches great lift to the cloud base and follows the cloud street and after 65km XC flight lands near Ballinamore.
SK: Ja mám tiež to šťastie odštartovať do dobrého intervalu a pridávam sa k Luborovi, no Peter a Tom už to šťastie nemajú. Nad hrebeňom Ben Bulben je už dobre, lietanie je pohodlné a každú chvíľu príde nejaká termická bublina. Lubor sa rozhoduje preskočiť na susedný Ben Wiskin a ja ho po nabraní výšky nasledujem, na miesto kde on točí termiku prichádzam o pár minút neskôr a po márnom hľadaní bubliny pristávam pod Ben Wiskinom no Lubor pokračuje okolo Truskmore až do miest, kde začínajú ideálne oblaky a po dotočení pod oblak si užíva 20km kumulostrádu. V polovici letu je už len 150m nad zemou ale sa mu znovu darí dostať sa do základne a pristáva po 65km cross country lete pre dedine Ballinamore.
